I haven't used Poser 11 in ages having moved to 12 and then 13 as they came out.  Back when I used Poser 11 I only used CPU rendering but I wanted to test something out and it appears that my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 does not work in Poser 11.  Can this be confirmed or is it something in my settings?

If I'm not wrong. the Poser11 generation only support up to the 20xx family, it's a question of technology: the 30xx and 40xx families are too recent for Poser11, and the Superfly part needed an huge upgrade for this to happen.

That's correct. The 30xx and newer use a different architecture from the 20xx cards. The GPU render won't work with the newer generation cards in Poser 11.

I figured it was probably something like that but just wanted to make sure it wasn't me.  I don't use P11 any more so it's not an issue but testing a render there and waiting for the CPU render as opposed to P13's Optix was not fun!
