Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 03 8:59 am)
Hello DeeceyArt,
Thank You very much for Your answer!
In fact the Poser Pro 2010 uses the Adobe Air which is supported and running on Windows 10 too.
I would like to ask if someone could have the service releases for the Poser Pro 2010 and the Cinema4D Poser Fusion Plug-in of Poser Pro 2010 and could share it...
Thank You very much for Your help in advance!
Regards,
BáLiNt
Bondware is the owner of Poser now, and as far as I know the older versions of Poser released before they took over in 2019 were not transferred over to them. They were the property of Smith Micro, who no longer owns or supports the older versions.
Poser Pro 2010 is now 14 years old and content compatibility would be limited at this point in time. Have you looked into upgrading Poser? It's come a long way since then.
Correction: Adobe Air will run on Windows 10 without any problems. However, if your system crashes or you replace your computer, you cannot find an available copy. As for the plugins, those require licensed serial numbers for activation. The question is do they still work?Hello DeeceyArt,

Aside from that, there is no legal way to obtain Poser Pro 2010 executables and plugins, as in my best recollection Bondware doesn't have them. Smith Micro no longer has anything to do with Poser, so they can't be obtained from them either.
Given that PP2010 is now 14 years old, the only content that will be compatible with it is content from the Victoria 4 era. I can't remember what year Genesis 1 came out, but I do recall that was Poser compabitle. But anything Genesis 2 and on, or any weight-mapped figures will NOT be supported in PP2010, and anything with SuperFly materials will not be supported. So the OP will be restricted in what additional content he can use with it.
OK I just checked. Genesis 1 was released in 2011 so it will probably run in PP2010. However, Genesis 2 was the first to require the DSON Importer for Poser which is no longer available.
If OP wants compatibility with more figures, he'd probably need to upgrade, However, from the sounds of it, he may have to also upgrade hardware to run more current versions of Poser. Even Microsft is dropping support for Windows 10 this month.
There used to be a plugin for Cinema 4D called InterPoser Pro, but I believe that only ran on C4D R17 the latest. That is also no longer available.
Technology moves fast, and things become outdated quickly. 14 years is ancient in the computer world. 8-(

Actually instead of all this bla bla bla it would be a nice move sharing these !!!!! The OP clearly just wants the updates and DID NOT ASK FOR SERIALS so it is obvious that he obtained a legal version, SO WHERE IS THE GOD DARN PROBLEM ! It was a friendly request for help, so either help or shut up !
It is not a crime asking for a Update.
Remember that when you got Poser it was stated " Lifetime Licence " If you still have your serials then it does not matter where you get the Exe from. Same with P 11 SM Lifetime Licence ! But Probably also a reason why Bondware took down P11 Downloads due legal conflicts !?
If a legal owner has not the right to access the files that he can activate with he's purchased Licence then all do not have the right of further use of prior Poser versions, I assume that most still have these laying around on a backup drive. But you have a drive crash and the only answer you get is " Ohhh sorry dumb ass " But filesharing is not legal ! Live with it.
Sorry but this attitude makes me really angry ! Poser is loosing more and more members so ask your self why that is !
Yes DA you stated but are you the copyright holder? if not who is it if not Bondware? If you ask SM they will state that they are no longer in charge, but it might be one of the many who have there Hyperlink mounted in the Poser EXE so we could filter these out and ask one by one the 70 + who are listed in it !

I use Poser 13 and win 10
Bondware acquired Poser in 2019 as an asset purchase including only the source code to Poser 11.1 and data for Poser 11 license keys outstanding.
We did not acquire any website data, e-commerce history or distribution rights to older versions of the software.
Therefore, we do not sell, distribute or support any of the older Poser versions prior to 11.2. However, you may be able to find boxed versions of these older versions cheap on Ebay.

Hello together,
I have an old Poser Version: the Poser Pro 2010 and I would like to download the service releases for it.
Sadly I have seen that I do not find anywhere the downloadable files.
Poser Pro 2010 SR1.x
I would need the PoserFusion 2010 SR 1.x for C4D - 19.6 MB (.zip) file too...
Or do Yo know which company I need to contact to get these files?
(Maybe it would be a good idea if Renderosity could host these old service releases for the older poser versions...)
Thank You very much for Your help in advanced!
