I'm working on a transmapo to turn the P4 Unitard into a set of "leggings" for Posette. For some reason the darn thing doesn't want to be transparent in all the places it should be. Can anyone help me with an idea what I am doing wrong?

Hmm... Have you changed the highlight colour to something other than black? That might make the transparent parts shine through... Or, maybe your transparency map isn't really black in the parts that are supposed to be transparent?

Nope checked both of those things first...bur I'm glad that I was on teh right track at least...

I had this problem! Have you tried setting both min and max trans to 100%? worked for me :)

Yep did that too... it seems to be an issue with the "ambient color." If I change it to anything other than black, the problem seems to go away... but then the object becomes that color in the places that I want black... and it's only happening with this object... I did a similar trans map with the leotard and had no problem. Anyone else with an idea is begged to share it. :) I will now return to hitting my head against a wall.

Do you have the transparancy fall off set to zero?
