Well, I cross posted this in the Character Creators forum, but this seems to get a lot more traffic... The dancing guy above is my Land Dragon, a critter I modelled in Rhino, and am getting Poser-ready. he's wearing his test texture, awaiting his completion. Now, I have one problem with the joint parameters... the tail... anyone have any advice on making the tail curve instead of bend sharply?

In the PHI file put:-

2 Tail1 zyx curve
3 Tail2 zyx curve
4 Tail3 zyx curve ......etc

Ah... I see... Thank you, oh great master! But is there any way to do that after the fact?

In the Joint Parameters or the CR2, I mean... I just spent most of the day tweaking all the other joints, and really don't relish re-doing all that over...

Its the Great Master's day off. However he did leave this note:-

Create a second dragon with the amended PHI file. Now copy over the new tail into your existing figure. Watch very carefully the hip details there may be some overlap. If you have included an IK chain for the tail you need to copy this also. Good luck :)

Dankeshen, Phil. However... I'm tempted to go ahead and make the changes you suggest originally, and just using CR2 Edit to directly copy the params directly over...

FYI - If you have PPP the curve parameter is accessable at the bottom of the Joint editor and then you just resave it. The link shows an example of what the curve parameter can do.

Hrms... does this work WITHOUT PPP? I do not have PPP...

Sorry, only in PPP. You can either do it as Phil described above or edit the cr2 by hand, or send the file to someone who has PPP and they can do it. If you want I can add the curve joints for you. Would only take a couple of minutes.
