Subject: Falling in love with a program... :-)

Some days back, someone put a link to the Anim8or web site on this forum (or was it in the 'modeling' forum ?). And I want to thank this guy (even if I can't remember who posted this link) !!! :-) I had a try with many 3D apps... 3DSMAX, TrueSpace, LightWave, Amapi and even Rhino are far to complex for me. SPatch were amusing, but too limited and with complexe models, I had a lot of crashes. Now, Anim8or is exaxctly the program that I was looking for. Be sure that you'll see some of my works with it very soon... :-) PS : I now have a job, so, I'll purchase Vue4 this month !!! Prepare yourself to see a lot of pics from me... ;-)

Anim8or is a good program, really. I can't be sure, but it might have been me who suggested Anim8or, because I've sent alot of people to Anim8or's website over the last year and a half. Have you visited the Anim8or website bulletin Board? That's one of the coolest things about the program, is that the creator of Aniom8or himself, Steve Glanville, created and monitors the board, and answers questions personally. AQND Anim8or models import into Vue perfectly. :) Glad to hear you'll be "officially" joining us soon Bop...we'll be looking forward to seeing what you can come up with!

I've been fiddling with different 3D modeling apps myself. I'm kinda partial to 3D Canvas because it's turning out to be easier for me - I only wish the free version had more export options :(. Guess I'll have to spend the 50 bucks. Still very, very cheap for a 3D modeling app :). Laurie
