Check out this link for AZL's ultimate light & tutorial - Should clear things up.Attached Link: http://www.awakemm.com/poserarcana/
another thing to try is to put a "gel" on your light :) Poser Arkana has a good tutorial on this.oops hit the post before i had the chance to tell about what a gel is. a gel on a 3D light is a 2D map that you shine the light through. For example on the forest floor the sun doesn't just beam down and hit the ground. It filters through waving leaves. Your 2D map can act as the leaves. It can even be animated to move in front of the light. that'll give you a flavor for it. there are 4 lighting tutorials for Poser I believe it is the highest level one that tells about the light gels. good luck :)

alright last post this is the link directly to the tutorial.I'm trying to figure out a way to give this character away but only parts of it are mine. It was built using wyrmmaster's Masive Mike and Quim Abellas Paco texture. The face was based around settings from Archangel Gaberial (Who I can't thank enough for putting me on the right track. Man, I like his stuff.). The loin cloth was based around a skirt for vicky with a tecture and transparency map by me The boots are Mike's Cowboy boots with a morph taget by me. The sword scaboard is mine as is the belt. The necklace is from Vickys Barbarian outfit. There is also a body morph by me to make the hands and forearms bigger. I may switch to Muscle Mike when it's released.

Can anybody give me some pointers on making things look like they are being lit by a torch. I have things to add to the scene mainly on the floor. How can I light the stuff on the floor and still make it look like the torch is the only light source?
Man, it's really hard to tell when you set a light up how it's going to look until you render it.
Do I set up a bunch of spot lights all comming from the torch or is there another way?
Oh, another thing has anybody used this torch before? Is there any way to change the bottom end of it to another color besides purple. I've tried texture maps changing the color of the object but it still shows up purple????
Thanks,
Thorgrim
