When you are in the texture editor, click the filter dialog botton (the upper right botton on the combination 1 palette [or the palette that has the stripes you want to make thinner]). Fool around with A, B, and C until the stripes are just perfect. This should make the lines thinner. I have Bryce4 so I don't know if Bryce3 has it, but it should. I hope this helps =) . If you want to make more lines or less lines on the zebra, push the noise dialog botton on the upper left side of the palette you want to change. Slide the botton in the dialog that pops up to the right to make more stripes, or to the left to make less. Hope this works out for you. HAPPY HOLIDAYS Adam
First of all, the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. ~smile~ I don't know if what Adam said will work or not, but instead of doing it in the texture source editor why don't you just use the scale control in the transformation tools. Just click on the upper left button in the texture A box (when you put your mouse over it it will say "Editor"). In the popup window just increase the scale percentage of the X, Y, and Z axis as much as you need to make the pattern as small as you like. And inversely you can decrease the scale percentage to make it as large as you like. Just remember to use the thing in the middle so you will increase or decrease all the values the same, this will keep your texture proportional. Hope this answers your question. Autoloader

I have been playing with the texture editor in Bryce 3 and had a (foolish?) question, how does one adjust the "frequency" of a texture that is applied to an object? For example I want to zebra stripe an object but the lines come out way too large making the pattern unrecognizeable. Thanks for any help you can offer, Elfsong.
