Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 15 11:01 am)
Handlebars are a bit thin and may wind up being changed, and it will have spokes (assuming I can get them right!) but it's not a Harley. It's a reasonably accurate (to the best of my small ability) of a Yamaha Road Star. I did cheat and make the frame a hard tail rather than the hidden shock soft tail that the real one is. After two months of study and test riding to find the replacement for my current Honda Shadow this is the one I decided on. It is the closest on the market to a Harley and almost 1/2 the cost! Can't wait to start the textures. I'm going to use a teal texture that you can get on the V-Star currently, but no the Road Star. It almost made me buy the smaller bike, and still might make me repaint it after the warenty runs down.At any rate thanks for the kind words. mike
Don't know alot about bikes, but this looks good to me :)

THis is the first time I've posted anything on the forums, other than a comment or two. This is a test render of a new model I hope to turn into a Poser "character". It's not finished, needing a good deal of detail work and texturing. Still, I'm happy with the way it's turned out and wanted to post it for opinions. Oh, and please stand by, since I'm sure that, once the model is completed, i'll be pestering everyone with questions about incorperating movable parts, etc. Thanks. mike
