Subject: OT - Having a problem with 3D Exploration and need help

If any of you use this program for conversion of your objects from one program to another, I was wondering if you could help me solve a problem I am having. The program worked fine when it was on trial but as soon as I purchased it and registered, I can now only render objects and no longer have the option of converting. I wrote to the company on Friday morning but have so far not received a response. Would appreciate any help! :) Irene Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Although I have the full program I do not know the solution. If it were me I would completely remove the program using the uninsaller. Then look for any previous copies and delete those. Next go to Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools and select Disk Cleanup. This will remove any redundant temporary files (and is a good thing to do anyway). Now reboot and reinstall.

Good luck!

Thanks for your response Phil! Just found out from RimRunner that although I thought when I bought and registered this product - it was not the FULL package - and it only allows me to render. Guess I should have read the fine print on this one but I thought I was buying the entire package as per the trial. Needless to say I am ticked off as to purchase it costs me double in Canada. :) Irene

It's waaayyy overpriced anyway. How something could go from about 40 bucks to 200 just because a different company bought it is beyond me and is highway robbery IMHO :(. Laurie

I often use 3DWin 4.0. This converter translates a lot of files. It works fine, no help needed. Go to the link and download the program and the DEMO key. Install it and apply the key. Only use the 3DWin part (which is free), not the OGL part and it stays free.

Thanks for your responses! I certainly agree - it is very overpriced and also quite misleading when you download the trial...oh well, another experience in Webland under my belt. :) Irene
