Hi, I'm always Andrea from Italy. I've bought Victoria 2 for Poser 4 and the Pony Tail pack, when I render in Poser (obviously) all works good. The troubles starts when I export the figure (Victoria + hair) in Bryce 5, infact I cannot aplly the transparency map to the hair in the correct way. When I apply the transparency map to every single object of the hair the result is awful!!! Is it possible to obtain in Bryce the same Poser result? In the attached images yu can see the last window wich appears when I export the figure from Poser, what are the correct settings? Thanks for Every answer Hi Andrea

Should be right, I always use the default exporting options. But for the trouble with the transmaps , there is no solution.at brycetech.com and in different other places there are tutorials , how to do it. The worst it comes if you have hair( not you, the poserfigure) that uses different transmaps for different hairparts.

You need Grouper from the attached link to make your life easier. Then you don't need to worry about that dialogue box. Export your obj file. Open it in Grouper. Click "Scan". Then associate all the bits that use the same transparency map; for example, Vairesh's Total Hair has three transparency maps for scalp, fringe and the rest, although there are about six meshes in all, so you would group four, one and one. If you study the render materials screen in Poser you can find which materials in the hair use which transparency map. You still have to apply the transmaps by hand in Bryce, but at least you can now find more easily the right parts. In the end you can have a very nice result.
