This is a free P4 male character now available at my site. He's called "Mark" The download includes the character files, High res textures and bump maps and a few poses. The texture is a bit of a mixture and incorporates bits by Liz Pope, Staale and me. The character is a mixture of mainly morphs from Travellers Morph world and a lot of fiddling around with magnets. Thanks to everyone. You can download from the URL above. You can see a full length image of him in the gallery http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=103465&Start=1&Sectionid=1&WhatsNew=Yes

great job. I really like the texture.

nitreug ( ) posted Tue, 06 November 2001 at 10:47 PM

yes this was my mistake. Sorry. Great character. Daz3d should also do a texture for the millenum kids that has a look like this one. He looks very real and different.

hello Bebop What did you do to make Mark so different than mine? I only add hair and use your pose.

bebop ( ) posted Wed, 07 November 2001 at 10:31 PM

Hi Nitreug. I don't think he looks that much different. Main thing, apart from the hair, is lighting I think. I had the camera focal length set at 100mm which tends to make the face look rounder. Darkened the area under the nostrils and smoothed out the edges and sharpened the whole image a little and that's about it I think

nitreug ( ) posted Wed, 07 November 2001 at 11:29 PM

i will try it but I am not very good at lighting.

Nitreug, there used to be two light sets in Freestuff by Snowsultan, Illustrender and Illustrender2(with spotlights) They're both very good, I suggest you do a search for them. The fist set works well with white backgrounds and the second with black.
