Thanks, Chrome. My list would include quite a few of those names. Especially Wizz, SacredRose, Futuramik, SinSister, Xena, and Nikitacreed. But the one person who helped me out most as a newbie I haven't seen in a long time. Richard Kane, aka RKane1, helped me with a million and one answers to a million and one newbie questions. And to voodoo and Jekart for inspiring me to the level of painting I have achieved, and hope to continue improving. Thanks to all those who have helped me out the past year. -Kage
Here's my list(in no particular order), and it's probably not a complete one. PhilC, Blackhearted, Nikitacreed, Sinsister, Kozaburo, sralos, viper9, lalverson, Lorraine, artistheat, treveo3000, Skooldaze, Spanki, Mazak, thgeisel, sirkrite, lynde, Helen, wiljen, royloo, Lady cherry, Seven Wolves, and all those I missed. You fit into one or more of these catagories. You posted freebie that I used. Said something nice about one of my postings. I admire your work and/or you have inspired me in some way. Thanks. As I learn more hopefuly I'll be able to offer as much to the community as all of you.
I think this illustrates that a rising tide will raise all ships. When I started I was glad to have my questions answered by those who had gone before. It seams only right to pay this forward.
My thanks for your thanks.
My hats off to others mentioned.
My respect to all of you who have shared your knowledge through this forum.
blush I can't believe I am on these lists! I am so honored! Thank you all! huge blush As far as I am concerned....there really aren't many members of R'osity that I can't thank in one way or another. So my Thank You list would be the entire active member roster here at R'osity. From the new artists who make me smile when they inject us with new blood, talent, and beautiful work; to the vendors whose creations inspire me to do new work; to the old fogey members heh whose work never ceases to amaze me; to the ones who brought us this great community in the first place; and last but not least...all you wonderful people who fill the freebie section with your hard work....without you...we would all be lost and most definitely broke. LOL! Thank you all for helping myself and others like me learn to express ourselves in ways we never imagined we could! -Emily Thrasher aka. nikitacreed
thanks chrome, wolfe - im honored to be on your lists. as for my list... well, i havent really made many friends here with this nick. but back when i was a newbie (different nick) i remember how helpful people were, especially in the beginner gallery. it never ceases to amaze me how so many people are willing to welcome a complete stranger into their midst, take them under their wing, and take the time to patiently answer their questions. not to mention the hundreds of freestuff providers that slave over a mesh or texture all day and share their work with us, asking for nothing in return. nikita - you wont have any clue who i am, but thanks for your generuous comments on my newbie works a long while ago. artists develop from criticism, but they also need praise to thrive. i still dont see what you saw in them though :)
The last 6 months I found myself biding nearly all my spare time behind the keyboard, eyes glued to the screen, viewing images people created, reading tutorials over and over again, messing up my PC with huge renders, downloading everything of interest (anyone got a disk to spare?) and spending almost a months wages on characters, textures, poses, packs... Yah, I got hooked alright and Im having a great time being addicted to Poser and the world around it. Thanks for showing me your imagination (it sure boosted mine) and teaching me ways to express myself graphically, either freely or for a minimal amount. Thank YOU!
Chrome I am beyond honored and am now blushing! Anytime hun! If you ever ever need anything or have any questions on anything that you think i can help you with i would be more than happy to help you just throw me a line! My icq# is 7484243 Feel Free to ask! Runs and jumps on chrono giving him a big hug and kiss

a deep bow to sinsister........and while i'm at it, i'd like to add this: odds are, if i've spoken to someone, it's been for help.........and i've never run short of it..........so i'll join this thread by saying that my thanks is boundless, my list too long and distinguished for words, and my gratitude without limits..........

I'm no longer a newbie here...that much is obvious. I've met many people here I like to consider friends in the Poser community, and gotten a lot of helpful feedback and tutorial, not to mention some wonderful tools to add to my Poser library. But since my first posting back in May 2K1, I've never really said something that I feel is long overdue: Thank you. Just a sampling of the folks who deserve this thanks, either for wonderful work of thier own, or for support, a pointer in the right direction, or whatever...I'm sorry if I miss anyone on this list, I'm typing names as I think of them: Wyrmmaster, Blackhearted, Bloodsong, Sacred Rose, Xena, Destiny, LisaB, Nikitacreed, LordsWarrior, Wizzard, PhilC, PheonixRising (with caps), Sinsister, caleb68, blbarett, dalinise, StefyZZ, TravisB, Andygraph, dcort, Dolphins Dream, KateTheShrew, Kageboshi, Kozoburo, Lady Cherry, Redsonia, edriver, cooler, Sturkwurk, Sorrow, Kupa, Eric Westray, Billy-T, Traveler, Davo...and anyone I may have missed... These folks have been instrumental in one way or another for my interest in, and improvement in, the field of digital art. I'm sure they've helped others the same way they've helped me...I just thought a thank you was in order... So again, thank you...I wouldn't be where I am today without all of you, and it's appreciated... Sincerely, David 'ChromeTiger' Hebbe
