Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 21 1:30 pm)
Yes, I just got the e-mail also and I have spoke with Gary Nelson, Mac McGary in the past and I definately think this product is worth it. When I downloaded the demo version, I tried to do the apple tutorial and managed to do it easily. BELIEVE ME LOL... if I can do it, anybody should be able to!! Thanks for speaking up, I was afraid I was the only person around here that uses it! :o) Jack

Hi gang, Many of you know that I have harped on how cool a program Pixologic's ZBrush is. Well Pixologic has decided to release version 0.90 commercially with a free upgrade to 1.0 when it becomes available. The kicker is that they've cut the price by 50% for this deal. (regularly $585.00, now just $292.50) Now I know this big question was and is, "Will it interface with Poser?" I inquired, and here is the reply from Gary Nelson of Pixologic: "Currently, v0.9 imports and exports .psd and .bmp 2D files and .obj export only. We have not finalized the import/export options yet." This, of course, means that at this time it's a great program to make Poser props (especially hair props), and a unique program for doing post render finishing, but not a program to help you make morph targets or texture maps for your poser figures. As always, your feedback will go a long way to helping Pixologic decide what features to include. If you're interested, I would suggest you email them at info@pixologic.co If you're wondering what this is all about, use the link to go to their web site. Thanks all, SmallspaceI'd rather stay in my lane than lay in my stain!
