I'm looking for a new server,Geocities is Horrible ever since the yahoo merger.Does anyone know a good one without too many restrictions that's fast?I'm willing to pay but not more than like $20 a month.Thanks in advance...Shredboy

Hey Shred, it may cost a few dollars, not much actually unless you plan to run 16 gigs of transfer a day, but the best one I have found is SheerGenius.com Matt, the owner is really cool and will work to meet your needs. you could try Virtualave.net i have never had any problems with them and I have three sites on their server. They even give you cgi-bin access..

Shred, Don't forget to look into local providers in your area. My provider "theworks.com" has been VERY helpful and I'm still only paying $20/mo and I'm using 20 MB of space and transfering over 6 GB/mo.

I've never had any problems with "easyspace.com", and they offer 100Mb free space for $7.99 a month with a domain name registration... that does not include the registration fee with internic, but that's only $70 per 2 years... can't be bad... oh and did I forget to mention no bandwidth limitations with that?
