531666.jpg This needs help. I did what I could, except give up. Yet.

I can't help you, there are greater minds in the forum for that...but I do want to say that I really like this shot!! It has a surrealistic X-files feel to it...it actually reminds me of a really good Bryce render...

Take this example and put it in the Learning Center. This is a good example of knowing the tool set and what result could be achieved. All it needs is SueO to tell us what she found wanting originally. I saw an Ansel Adams quote the other day , "The negative is the score and the print is the perfomance."

Ansel Adams originally wanted to become a concert pianist.

Wow, nplus, no kidding about Ansel Adams being a concert pianist....I see this so much, the creative cross-over. Sue, I like them both, what I like about what Alpha did, was that it dimmed the intensity of the lights, and changed the entire mood of the photograph. However, either way its a very moody photograph, that almost tells a story in itself!

Huuuh, now thats something. Both pics are so damn beautiful. Do you remember details for actual pic? And I agree Syydder, both tells the story and raises questions. I would like to see these in bigger resolution. .n

I actually much prefer the original uf ya'll don't mind me sayiung. I think the only thing that could be done would maybe be some dodging and burning here and there. Otherwise, I'd say it was a great time to give up, cuz it rawked!

THanks all, especially Alpha. Looks good. I will try the same thing on the original file. Antoonio--D30 w/24/2.8 at f/2.8, ISO200, manual focus, handheld at 1/6 sec braced on a fence post and supported by fervent prayers LOL. BillGlaw. The brightest lights bugged the bejesus out of me. They look like headlights at best in my version above. And the noise sucked, but at ISO200 and a sixth, what did I expect? Thanks again.

Supported by fervent prayers LOL....This is the kind of photograph that tells a real story, it gives the viewer some kind of feeling of mystery.....
