My commitment to all of you still stands.. I apologize sincerely for any incoveninece or alarm I may have caused you yesterday ..as I was not seriously considering my participation in PWFW essential for its goodwill.. I promise to do my best and sort out my problems through other channels without affecting anylonger our bonds or mixing them with business.. forgive me all for being still so immature at this age! :( Rena

I think you will hear a collective sigh of relief from all of us Rena, not just subscribers. Hope that your problems untangle smoothly and quickly. Diana

Rena, we all run through these set backs in life, you have a strong heart and will, you can tell by your diligence in your work. There are no appologies needed, what is needed is our support for you, and you have it. Sharen

Was it a famous GREEK philosopher who said, "Whatever does not kill you makes you stronger?" Oh,wait a minute, that might have been my Uncle Skin, who is neither famous or Greek, but does philosophize. Boy, does he ever. Then again, at 86, I guess he's earned it. Rena, we'll probably never meet, but I admire your talent and skill and hope you are well as well can be. Being so talented, you must be special. Larry F

Larry F - the correct form is "Whatever does not kill you - kill you later" sooner or later we'll face the fact we'll be death - the aim is to stretch the living period as long as possible ... and if you're lucky you've some fun during this time :o)

This age ? For me you are a child, no ? Don't matter how your problems can affect us. I only hope they will not affect you too much. Love, Serge

Although I'm no subscriber, you've been immensely inspirational and helpful to both me personally and to the community in general. Whatever your problems may be, I hope you solve them in a way that does not harm your obvious delight with all things Poser.

Renapd, You'd be surprised how many problems people here and around the world are having right now. It seems like a bad time in general for almost everyone these days. In the last three years. I've lost a good paying job. The love of my life. And have not been able to get on my feet. Keep rollin with the punches. When the world gives you lemons...make lemondae. :-) ScottA

I feel as if I came in on the middle of whatever this is, as I have not seen the original post. By the time I first saw it, it had been deleted. I have no idea what happened, or why. I'm totally in the dark, here. If my comments don't quite make sense, please excuse them. I just wanted to say, that every time I see one of your creations, I am reminded of why Poser is such a terrific graphics tool. I consider you one of our Poser Mavens, and I am constantly amazed at your talented and unique ideas. People like you, I think, are what makes programs like Poser so appealing to the newbies. I'm sure you have inspired many of them to be "like Rena when they grow up," myself included. Thank you for all your sharing.

I hope you take some comfort in the fact that you, along with a few others (like PhilC to name just one) are one of the true Poser GENIUSES and GUIDING LIGHTS in this community. With every one of your works you inspire the rest of us and distinguish this software, helping to keep it alive and thriving. Thanks for that.

Hi Rena, your picture in the gallery is very moving. I do not know just what to say to you to help, but I have a philosophy of life that I will share with you - it applies to all of us and it has to do with the power we possess to affect and influence the world and those we encounter. "No one for having known you will ever be the same again for having known you."

HeavyRay ( ) posted Fri, 16 November 2001 at 7:16 PM

Rena,
Please add my name to the Rena fan club. We all appreciate and admire your work; it is such a valuable asset to all in the community! Why? Just read this quote:

" I'll never stop repeating this.. don't rely on just admiring other people's work! Study it, look up for details, then think hard and ask yourself.. how he/she did that? Eventually you'll come up with the answers and there's no better tutorial or satisfaction than that! :o)"

If that looks/sounds familiar, it's because they're YOUR words (from Nikita's interview with you in "The Arena Scrolls.") So if you think your absence wouldn't be missed, as the others have already said, you couldn't be more wrong!!!

That said however, it's important to put ALL things in perspective. Please take care of YOURSELF first, and if any of us can help, even if it's only words of encouragement and support, please don't be bashful to ask...

Take care of yourself!
Ray

Rena, Obviously many of us do not know what is happening in you real life that would cause you to concider leaving PWFW. This is, in truth, only right as it is none of our business. At the same time to loose the products of your fabulous talent is a sad thing! However, you MUST do what you have to do FOR YOURSELF first! Please do not let the fact that you would be greaty missed influence you to, WRONGLY, continue a situation you would rather change! We, you fans, will understand whichever course you feel you must follow. If it takes you away for a time and you returen, once more happy, then great! If it takes you away and you do not reutrn, but are happy than that is also great! Do what you must but BE HAPPY in it, whatever it is. mike
