Subject: Poser Advanced Techniques Manual????

Cage ( ) posted Sat, 11 December 1999 at 10:47 PM · edited Sat, 16 November 2024 at 10:22 PM

I've been trying to access the Advanced Techniques Manual on and off for a couple of months now, but have never been successful. Does it really exist? Is it available anywhere as a file that I can open on my own system instead of trying to access it online? Every time I've tried, my system has crashed or frozen in the process. I need some help....

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

When you go to download it, right click on the link, and click "save the link as" to save it to your hard drive. Then it will download instead of open.

Oh, maaaan. That's too simple. Thanks.

You're welcome. It took me a while to figure that one out. Older versions of Acrobat Reader would download and show the file, then you had the option to save it without re-downloading it.

Just FYI, the ATM is now part of the Poser4 manual.

I only skimmed through it last night, but I thought most of it looked pretty familiar. Isn't there a "new" section near the end, pertaining to new figure creation?

Not sure. They split the ATM up and placed it in different sections of the p4 manual. All the info is there and yes, maybe just a bit more. -JH.
