Here's a model of the original Enterprise bridge I made for my Poser figures. I'm building all of the major interior 'sets' of the Enterprise 1701.

Are these TOS characters already made?

Hi again Warrior! : ) I have Poser 3 figures in TOS uniforms. They are based on the female figure with the skirt morph and the male pantsman type figure with the no nipples morph. I was kinda hoping someone would come up with some TOS Trek figures for download - but so far as I know there are only a couple of texture maps on Fun Stuff. I used the badges from a Trek fonts set to get a better look with my maps. Like you, Warrior, my crew are from U.S.S. Excalibur - so they don't have to look like the original cast. I'm hoping someone will do a Miss Piggy Muppet I can use as a Tellarite.

Well, the symbol I use for the Excalibur crew is a sword instead of the Enterprise delta (All TOS ships had different emblems). RoyS, who is a friend of mine, made the TOS uniform maps on the Fun Stuff section. Having just gotten Poser 4, I'm trying to make some myself L Come back on by the SciFi-Arts Forums, and we can all get together in the Poser/Bryce forum and figure out how to get the best results for the TOS characters.

I was playing around, and came up with something that might work. First, find a no-nipples morph for the P4 girl. (Did Traveller make one?) Next, alter the P4 Girl texture to where the upper half from the waist up is a TOS uniform. Next, in Poser, use the P4 miniskirt, with a little bit of taper and scale adjustments to flare the bottom, and make it the same color of the uniform part of the girl texture. Finish it off by using the Female boots, and hair of your choice. This is something I just thought of, and haven't tried. Seems like it would work (in theory, at least.) Jon

Yeesh! Did a search for my morph thread and came up with this two year old thread L If anyone cares, here's an update to the last two years since this thread got started: I have complete TOS uniforms now, along with other Trek uniforms, on my site at 3DPoser.com I also just completed the Tellarite morph: Holy Morph Target thread It should be known that I have a complete TOS bridge as well, thanks to a friend of mine (seanr) at my 3D Gladiators site.

Blast from the past! Don't know how I missed this originally - thanks for the flashback Warrior. Does anyone know if the 1701 bridge model, that Andy still shows at his old site, was ever made available?

WarriorDL ( ) posted Sun, 18 November 2001 at 9:09 PM

Nance, no... it isn't available. He had been sending me parts of it to convert to LW, but then we lost contact.

Drat! Looks like it was a fine piece of work. Thanks for the update WDL.
