Yes, I know, I'm the only person left who's still fumbling about with Poser 3. But I had a rough time creating a figure with poseable clothing, not to mention making morph targets, that I thought I'd post a picture anyway. She's not complete yet, still needs hair and about a zillion more morphs. The idea is to eventually use her in some animated screen savers.

Wow I love that dress. She looks very sexy, also nice breast. Will she be available for download? Gerry :)

Poser3 yet still amazing. Good work.

Gerry By the time I'm finished with Marge, everyone else will probably be working with Poser 5. Besides, I don't have my own site. But if there's still a demand for Poser3 figures, I'd be happy to send the obj and cr2 files somewhere where they can be downloaded.

Try the Propsguild, they always accept cool Poser Characters. Nothing wrong with Poser3 figures, they still look great. -JH.

This is pretty amazing for Poser 4..nevermind P3! Foxhollow

That is really good work. No reason in the world to apologize for P3. I have always wanted to know, but didn't know who to ask, what program do you use to make an animated screensaver? All I can find are the ones that make a slideshow.

bergerac ( ) posted Mon, 13 December 1999 at 1:56 AM

Wyrwulf I just use a little program called "Screensavers Quick and Easy". It works best with AVI files, which take up a lot of space, so you have to play around with colours, resolution and number of frames to be practical. But I'm sure there are some free downloads at C-Net. Poser has just crashed, so I'll have to reload everything :( Maybe Marge caused my PC to overheat again :)

Bergerac I think Poser3 figures work fine. I dont have my own site too. Thanks to JeffH I just send my stuff to Poser Props Guild. JeffH is it ok if I use Props Guild link to upload my stuff here? Also what is thumbnail URL? Gerry

bergerac ( ) posted Mon, 13 December 1999 at 9:53 AM

Thanx Gerry I want to finish a few more morphs and tidy up a bit. I'll let you know when and where I let her loose on the world :) Just a thought, is there a site where one can post or upload Poser screensavers? I did a very interesting one in Poser 2 still, it turned your screen into a fishbowl, and Poser figures would come swimming by at random. I'd like to update that some time. Berge

I'm not sure if the Prosguild would permit a piggybacking link to files on their site. Their server own might have a fit over the bandwidth ;-) Easy enough just to get the files there. -JH.

Typo "Prosguild" = "Propsguild" ;-)

bergerac ( ) posted Mon, 13 December 1999 at 2:36 PM

Thanx, I'm really encouraged. I also find that I'm still learning so much about Poser 3 that it will be quite a while before it gets stale. However, the idea of using transparecy maps, and seeing the great models (especially the hair) that are being posted makes me quite envious. But, alas, this is only a hobby and if it gets any more interresting I might not pitch at work again :) Berge

Gary, you ain't the only one with P3. i'm another one with P3. the only reason i don't have 4 yet is $$$$$ along with needing RDS5.5(I have 4.1), Bryce4, and Carrara.
