The keyboad is modelled in Max but after the file is imported in Poser (as 3ds) all the maps are messed up !!! As seen on the picture. In this object differnt maps are applied on different faces of the objects. I applied UV-mapping in MAX without effect in Poser. What's wrong ? I tried to import the keyboad piece by piece into Poser but each object is rescaled so it seems imposible to build the thing together again. BTW : When I import the keyboard in Vue'esprit all is perfect !

Well I have a sugestion that mite work. I don't have Max but it woked with Truespace. You'll need 3d explorer. You can get a demo at the above link. Simply convert the 3ds to an obj in 3d explorer. I know this might sound simple but 3d explorer often does a better job of converting than programs like poser or TS do. I hope this works for you.

It looks more like a problem of welding identical vertices on import to Poser than it does a problem of bad texture maps. Try Cybermonk's suggestion, then split vertices in UVMapper.
