Hi Eric, I know there are far more advanced cards available these days, but I have had great luck and performance with my 3DFX Voodoo 3 card, which does support Open GL. I wish I could be of more help, but the hardware is still a mystery to me. I'm sure that soon though, others will have something to offer, since graphics cardss and Vue 4/Open GL have been a huge concern as of late....
There are many video cards. Most are specialize for 3D playback (consider game card)and high performance for 2D. The two that I know off (yes there is others for serious application)is from Matrox and 3D labs but you have to know which card to choose. Most 3D artist are looking for "Rendering Card" but it's yet to be seen on the market. Do vist their web site for more indication of what you need.
I strongly suggest a GeForce3 Ti 200, it's the best "Bang for the Buck" for OpenGL and Direct3D...it's slightly slower than a Ti 500 but much cheaper and it still has 64Mb DDR RAM! :) I run a Quadro DCC with the Detonators 21.83 on WinXP, all is smooth sailing in 3ds max 4.2, LightWave 6.5b, Vue 4.02 and 4.03, WorldBuilder 3 Pro and so on. :) Cheers!

Hi everybody ! a few simple questions : does anyone use a graphic card with VUE4 ? Do you get faster rendering with it ? Should get one ? If yes, do you have one to suggest ? elsa, 3Dlab, ati, ... ? Eric p.s. : next time I'll post something a bit more interesting !
