I wonder what software was used to create Victoria and Micheal? I have been going on this journey lately to find out which is the best program for creating poser figures, clothes, and props, and so far Rhino seems to win out above truespace and 3DSMAX, but only because I know rhino better. Anyhoo, if anyone would like to shed any light at all...

As far as I'm aware from other comments, Maya was used to create them. A rather expensive piece of software for modelling but if you've got the cash to spend it's hard to beat it for many things.

Hum, I might be wrong but I don't think it's Maya but rather Mirai, less expensive but still not really affordable for a non-professional user (and also not that easy to use) J-L

I have heard that some people use AnimationMaster which is a very affordable program. Its only a few hundred dollars. Check out samples at www.hash.com.

I'd go with MAx if you don't have a good rendering system yet - it is a very useful tool for a large number of reasons besides modelling. Now, I have Rhino too that I use for modelling some sutff, and I like it a lot as a modeller but I wouldn't spend the money on Rhino until after I had a good rendering engine - I couldn't live with just the one in poser.

It's my understanding that Zygote did all their modeling in Maya. If taht's the case, it stands to reason that DAZ followed suit and uses MAya as well.... I suppose they would be the best ones to ask though... if they're talkin'

I use bryce for rendering. Sure, it takes forever, but it truly is beautiful, what with the new advanced rendering options in 5. I love my bryce, first "3d" program I ever owned.
