Subject: New Poser 4 User - How do you combine figures to make new ones?

I have tried to make a centaur by using P4M (fig1) and a horse(fig2). I have arranged/hidden all the parts to my liking then move the horse body fig2 Hierarchy to the parent Hierarchy fig1 hip. I then click on the fig1 body and select the button at the bottom "create new figure". However this does not work -or- it does not work the way I thought it should. My Goal is to create a new figure in the figure lib and ultimately a new CR2 char file. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I would say just read the book or buy the extra book called Poser 4 Pro Pack F/X & Design by Richard Schrand. The example can be done in Poser 4 no need of Pro Pack. I am not very good at Poser but was able to do this one with Michael and Heavy Horse.

thank you for your reply.... I realized that I was using the Hierarchy in the wrong way. I needed to attach the second figure to the bodypart of the first to get it to work. Thanks again.
