Yes - it's true!! Mike is actually posting a picture!!! lol. In a bad mood yesterday so went for a walk in a place I ain't been to in about 20 or so years, even though it's only about 9 or 10 miles away. Got some shots which would have been a lot better if I'd taken the time to take the tripod with me, but some usuable ones anyways. I like this one purely for the light - yes, I know, the convergence is pretty bad..... hmm...might go and do my comp entry now that my camera knows I'm still speaking to it......lol (",) (Duh, nearly forgot the image!!!! lol)

very phallic mike. seriously, good to see ya posting again dude, and cool image. Why you can't take picture without tripod? I rarely use a tripod, unless I know I'll need one in advance due to the theme of whatever it is i plan on shooting. ry

The computer ate my last comment. Yup mighty fine pic. Hard to get those colors right. But this is primo stuff. I suppose this proves evergreen treesactually stay green! Bsteph

@Slynk - yeah, normally I manage without a tripod too, but I took the opportunity to play with the manual functions of the camera, and once I got in the shade the exposure times needed better stability than my shivering in the cold.... @bsteph & Niko - cheers, I liked the contrast myself...just to the other side (just too far to get in the picture nicely) was a tree completely without leaves - it was wierd, the contrast of the green, brown and bare all together.....
