Hiya, here's a sneak preview of my new Dina character and texture. It's *nowhere* near finished, but I thought I'd let you guys see it anyway. All comments and suggestions are welcome :-)

quite a good job! but i think personally that the face always looks like dina but it maybe the photo angle try to repost it from 3/4 it ll be better to "judge" it the texture is quite cool and the eyes are great personally i always "unload" the upper eyebrows transparency map and aply'em directly on the head texture in that way it changes her face a lot and maybe try some make up (i ve tryed and it looks so cool!)

It is almost always easy to tell a Posette, from an Eve, from, a Vicky, from a Dina. Each model has characteristics that are almost impossible to eradicate. For Vicky, it is her eyes (same with Posette and Eve...Eve has that round tush thing goin' on that Posette doesn't have as much of), and for Dina it is mostly her nose and jaw. I really like this texture BTW. Will it be a freebie, or in the store?

Ooh, those eyes are GREAT! I agree with Purr3D though, the nose and jaw do give Dina away, but I've seen some nice morphs on her, and with such a dense mesh it seems you should be able to morph her pretty heavily without too much weirdness... that would be my suggestion though, try to work on her nose, I'd love to see Dina with a cute little button nose. :)

Thanks guys :-) I will work on the nose more, probably on the whole face actually. And... the body. I'm trying to make her look more feminine, with curves in the right places and such. It'll take a sh*tload of work, which is why I will most likely put her in the store instead of free stuff, but I promise you - the price won't be that bad :-)

Eowyn,

She's looking great! I might suggest making the bridge of her nose a tad narrower. Those ARE terrific eyes.

I've given Dina a completely different nose and jawline in my character Cherry Blossom. I find Dina's face extremely easy to morph and very versatile. Now getting her breasts smaller is a chore, but it is with any Poser figure. She's available in the store at GRC right now and hopefully soon here (she's been submitted for a while now).

I'm glad to see people making more characters for Dina. She has such potential.

Diane, Cherry Blossom is great! When you first put up your initial pictures I knew that it was going to be good... there's another Dina character picture that was floating around here not too long ago that was nice too. Some day I'll get Dina... maybe as a Christmas present to myself! (That list is getting pretty long!)
