OK, I give up. Why do we see a Bandwidth Theft alert instead of whatever graphic you had uploaded for the Sams3D Message?! Sometimes they show up all over the place, instead of pictures that were supposed to be seen.

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 8:44 AM

I have no idea what is going on, I see my graphics, don't you see it? Sharen

I had to do some fancy work to capture this graphics. It's an untitled bitmap picture. I took it into PhotoImpact and saved as a jpg. I'll try to upload it with this message. I sometimes see this image plastered over an entire page so I don't see any of the original pictures.

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 9:22 AM

You know what, this is the first time I have seen this image, I wonder what is going on? I have bandwidth (cable), I do not know, I wonder who I could ask about this? Sharen

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 9:24 AM

Maybe you should post something again, I know I saw your original post yesterday, at least my yesterday. Or was it this morning early. Anyway, what should we do? Sharen

pokeydots ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 9:29 AM

sheeeesh, you make us plush, that picture was taken 2 years ago though, but we pretty much look the same, Mike has a few more grey hairs and I have a few more bags under my eyes, but yep that is us. Sharen

chohole ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 9:44 AM

I don't know what I thought you would look like, but the other half says that Mike would be a natural in the ACW enactment shows like we used to do for charity. Well Sharen how do you look in a crinoline?

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 9:48 AM

what is a ACW show? Sharen

chohole ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 9:59 AM

American Civil War. I used to belong to a society that put on ACW shows for charity. Great fun and we raised a lot of money for good causes. We like the civil war period over here, well some of us do, it's sort of an extension from liking country music. I used to make dresses for the girls, thats why I like Serge Marcks stuff so much.Crinolines are really nice to wear, very feminine.

Hey, this is Mike, my 4th Great Uncle was General George E. Custer, yes I like civil war stuff, Sharen loves the WWII era. Mike

chohole ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 10:54 AM

Sorry Mike but I was on the other side, seriously now can I really tell my friends over here that I talk to someone who is related to....... actually I did wonder when i first saw your name, its not a comman one like mine, Davies is only the most common name in Wales. I live in London.

Sure you can tell anyone you like, the funny thing is Sharen is 1/4 Mohawk indian. Mike

HeavyRay ( ) posted Sun, 02 December 2001 at 11:16 AM

I stand-by my "prediction" of what you two would look-like (posted under a separate message thread.) I see smiles, the "hats" are hiding the halos, and either due to judicious cropping of the pic and/or adjustment of the "angel wing" dial, your wings aren't visible. What, no one else sees this ?????

Once again thanks for all your helpful support in this and the Vue forums, all the freebies and in general, just being such nice people!!

Ray

Yes she told me that, I have friend over here who is half cherokee, half mexican, married to a Texan, living in London so nothing surprises me. I just love country music and enjoy playing at ACW.
