Subject: Can .3ds files be used in Poser 4?

If so, someone PLEASE tell me how to do it. I tried importing them and it was a nightmare...is there an easier way?

No easier way. Import is the only thing you can do. The result depends a great deal on the original 3ds model. Get to know the import options in the import dialogue. They can help but really if the original wasnt made with Poser in mind then often you just wont get good results.

If all else fails, you could always convert them to .obj format using a third-party utility like Crossroads, and then import them into Poser.
