Here it is, Syyd, as promised. I was in a fantasy mode and decided to change the hair. (Please don't kill me...) No post work. Hope you like it anyways. :-)

Hey! I wantesd to do that! I've been busy working on Da Mad 4 Stringer (bassist for Da Mad 6 Stringer). After him comes Da Mad Skin Smasher (drummer). Great stuff star. Love the depth of the hair. Its one thing I have a real hard time with (getting depth out of hair). Mad cool. If you have this scanned in a higher res, send it to Syyd in .tif format so she can print it out.

I dont have words, well I do, and then I dont, and then Im so flabbergasted I get choked up again. I TOLD YOU I'd CRY, but good good very good tears......Im so happy, so very very very happy.....This is one of the most beautiful things in my WHOLE entire life anybody's gifted. If I could have it large, it is something that I would like to give Chelsea as an heirloom rememberance. Thank you, over and over......My god, the hair is beautiful...you captured one of the most treasured moments in my life...holding a girl who is on the edge of being a young woman, who still needs the comfort of her Mom... Wow..... God bless you always, Syyd and Chelsea

Thanks... Btw, Syyd, did you get the file I sent you?

...huh, now thats beautiful work. Models are beautiful too. :o) How long it took to draw this? And, If you feel like, you can draw me anytime you want. And if I can ask, with oils and in real size. I could put it here in the office and sleep longer. .n

starshuffler ( ) posted Tue, 04 December 2001 at 11:41 AM

I don't remember exactly how long, but I estimate around 1 and a half hours to 2 hours max. The work would've taken longer if the subject wasn't/weren't as inspiring as this one. LOL too bad, Antoonio, I don't work with oils. I mostly use water-based media (acrylic, watercolor, tempera) when rendering color by hand.
