I'm not very happy with this. No spot lighting or anything. I will probably reshoot this, so I want to know how I can make this more interesting. Btw I didn't do post work on any of these.

This one was an accident. I was checking out the second floor, and on my way down I saw this. Stopped for a moment and clicked away. (I feel kind of creeped out with that religious icon thingy, though. No offense intended to anyone.)

Well I like them real well, and I'm not sure how to make them more interesting. You can always adopt weird shooting angles, if it's appropriate to the ends...What are you using them for, again? You really nailed the exposures btw. Good job. You know I didn't even notice the religious icon til you mentioned it...

I like the second picture. Religious icon and all. Can you add a light to the upper left of the first picture. It can add some light but perhaps not destroy the good reflection on the nifty tiling. Perhaps you can move a little back just to include all of the tables and chairs. Bsteph

Somehow #1 feels a bit unbalanced, but nice anyway....#2 is great stuff. Btw, it's just too kool how the light is still neutral and not the usual yellow when shooting indoors at night. wow!

Alpha, I think I will have problems taking two steps back LOL. I shot this with the wall against my back three or four steps up a staircase because that's as far as I can go. This is a small house, and my designer friend and I are really doing a great effort trying to make this look like a mansion. I'll try shooting at floor level, though. Thanks!

What lense did you use? I'd atack this with a 24mm or so if it is so small. -Gabe-

I can't remember which lens I used for these-- I left my equipment with my friend. Aack.

If you have the gutts you could throw in a 16mm 2.8....I love to use it in large buildings, with long empty walls or staircases. Just as long as it's not a round structure it could be pretty interesting. Don't mean a nikkor, but a cheap zenitar 16mm is good enough....lots of contrast.
