Im Trying to make the moon brighter in a night sky. Iv tried, no haze and earthshine set to 100 and all of the normal controls. Sometimes it seems like the sky defaults to violet when the moon is in it. In the past ,I have had to brighten the moon in photoshop ,and any reflections caused by the moon,,, a time consuming process. Anyway the moon seems (way too dim) no matter what I do. I have Bryce 3 ,4 and 5. I dont want to import a moon image and place it on sphere. I want to use the bryce moon because if I can Brighten it ,then any reflections,such as in clouds or on water would brighten as well. Anybody know a way or a trick to acomplish this in bryce? for the reflection by the moon, i place a lightcone in the direction where the moon is, and turn the light in the cameradirection. But my moon is pale too :-((

Same here, it is an irritant. Maybe Corel will give us brighter moons? Also, I'd like to be able to dim the sun without changing the atmosphere colors, etc.

yeah, the sun seems to me a bigger problem, you can't really change that easily in post, but, I think I read somewhere that in bryce4 you can change moon images to those ones with faces, and you can make your own somehow

I heard that you could change the moon image too, but after checking the B4, B5, and Kitchen's books, there's nothing about that. I think if you want to change moon image, you need to use a sphere or a 2d circle object with the pic in it. I agree with you, Corel should put some attention to the sun/moon controls. I'd like to be able to increase the intensity of the moon and decrease the intensity of the sun.
