Genuine Fractals... I'll have to remember that for the 2x3 foot print... Does the program printing the pic have to have the software, or can I use it, upsize it, then bring it somewhere else with the same quality? It is at 600 ppi, but I'd like to retain as much quality as possible considering how much I'll be resizing, and I'll have to be bringing it on cd to a print shop to get it printed...
Bring it in (GF) and save it in .psd or .tiff if you want. I did that to print in Qimage (a terrific print app with a demo) since it doesn't at present recognize GF's format. You have to save the image initially in GF (.stn), then open it again in PS and there you can upsize, change resolution, etc.
I got geniune fractals with my camera....I used it this summer to enlarge work to go to canvas....had to do a bit of postworking in photoshop, but I also had ground fog effects in the image, and noctalucent clouds in another...it works pretty well. http://graphicdesign.about.com/library/weekly/aa032800a.htm
So basically I way behind the time! Why didn't anyone mention these amazing programs. Slynk as far as I can tell the image can be saved from Spline and reloaded into another application. I'm going to try reinstalling this program at home. ( I tried yesterday at work BUT I'm looked out with respect to adding to the program menubar. ) Other fun gizmos I have discovered, the pin cam, cost $69.00 or $49.00 at Comp USA with a $20.00 instant rebate. There is agreat software bundle. The new Kodak MC2, mp3 recorder player, video cam, digi cam. Cost $90.00 at Macys with a $35.00 purchase. My current review the 16M included memory card wont cut it. It feels cheap ( I guess because it is. ) However I think it's got potential. Especially when one gets a larger ram card. The movie I recorded did not look too choppy. However it seems to suffer from no flash and the sensitivity is VERY low. Ie the image looked dark when I focused the viewfinder directly at the lamp . I plan to post some images from this later tonight. OK back to work for me. Bsteph
No you are not mistaken. My thought was to get a larger card ( say 5 or 6 times larger. ) and record at a smaller size. I'm not exactly sure I read the specs however I haven't attempted to fill the card with images yet. I should add however the fps are not full motion. It can capture at 20fps and 12 I think. Bsteph

Hello good people, I've just heard of a program which supposedly allows on to enlarge small digital pictures without so much of the jazzies. Is created by Spline ( WWW.S-SPLINE.COM ). You can download a free demo. The full version is roughly 70 dollars. Bsteph
