Options that I can think of: 1) You could take pictures and use Nerd's backdrop tool, which I believe is available at the store. 2) You can use simple shapes and use the magnets to try to shape them the way you want. You'd probably want to export them and UV Map them to put textures on them. 3) Use commerical and freestuff props to populate your Poser scene. Poser really isn't meant to create backgrounds. You can get around it, but it's not always easy. If you have low memory space, Poser may give you problems anyway due to having a lot of objects in your scenes which takes up memory.
