Subject: Make things shine in Poser ?

Well, todays Poser-question is: Can I make thing shine in Poser when light hits it...like a pice of glass, metal or a polished wood surface would do if I rendered a pic in Bryce ? Sky :-)

This may sound silly, but it helps to be sure you have a light pointing at your figure. After months of gleeful ignorance, I couldn't help wonder why all my adventurer's outfits looked alike. OOOh, shine a light!

In the material editor choose a bright color(white) for both the high light and the reflective light. Also might want to give the ambient light something besides black. Not to bright on the ambient though as it can bleach the details right out. In the right situation however abient light can add a little luster to the material. ALso you might want to add a reflection map and turn the strength down. Hope this helps

I am working on a new section to my site, called "Mike's World." This is a catalog of everything I have that goes with Mike. I am still working on the section. I want to replace the original artwork or screenshots with my own. I've done that on many items, but still have work to do.

I tried to copy and past the direct link to the Adventurers Clothes section in DAZ, but I guess it's too long. The thing to remember here is that you start out with the Adventurer's outfits. The set is for both Mike and Vicki.

Then of course you buy the textures. If you want the Good Vs Evil, you buy that too. Many people here at Renderosity offer textures for the Adventurers outfits.
