Vicky & Mic belong to DAZ, not Curious Labs. It's been established they won't be in Poser 5. Curious Labs came out with a couple of anouncements, followed by some new product developements earlier this month. There were several threads at that time with members & Curious Labs personnel discussing wish lists for P5, etc, and the subject was pretty much done to death then. CL did drop a few hints about what was in the works. Do a search on Kupa in this thread & read the threads on or about Nov 9th, & you'll know as much about it as any of us not involved directly with Curious Labs. Until we hear anything more official from CL, another discussion is just flogging a dead horse for now. Here's a link to one of the threads, above.I agree with leather-guy, another wish list would be pointless at this stage, the important thing is for them to get Poser 5 up for sale, not that it have every little thing that might be nice. My main wish is Poser 5 by Christmas, I'm not holding my breath, though. I haven't even heard anything about people beta testing it, either.
Well, Poser 5.1 wish list hasn't been flogged to death! Here's an idea I had after I submitted my wish list to them-- How about a function key that selects the adjacent body part for posing. Such as, you have the hand selected, and by hitting the function key, you could select the forearm, then the shoulder. Of course, since often there are two or more adjacent body parts, you'd need at least 2 keys, an there's have to be limits ( you couldn't go from the hand to the fingers, for example.) I'm glad Poser 5 doesn't come with Vicky and Mike. I'm hoping it comes with their 'answer' to Vicky and Mike-- more of a variety, and maybe an improvement!
I'd like improved camera control myself (and yes, I know about the dolly camera). It would be great if we could move a camera around the same way we play a first-person shooter like Quake or Unreal, by means of keyboard and mouse. The current GUI interface (trackball and dials) is a bit unintuitive.
I'm not familiar with the capabilities of Python scripting (yet), but would it be possible to implement this in Poser 4? I'd post this question in the Python forum, but it seems kind of quiet over there.

I'm sure many folks here have submitted ideas to the Poser 5 wishlist e-mail. Perhaps everyone can post their comments here, and we could discuss new ideas, and even think of new ones. I'm not even sure what Poser Pro Pack does, so if I post any comments here for P5 that PPP already covers, forgive me: 1. Ability to edit meshes in Poser, with ease and an intuitive interface. 2. An easier animation interface, and features to increase the realism of animations. Perhaps the ability to do motion capture without any plugins, other than the motion balls that are attached to the actual person doing the movements. So perhaps little white spheres in our P5 box. 3. Mike and Vicky, or another high-res model included with the package? Any other ideas? BRB http://www.MessianicArt.com/
