Subject: Problems with Victoria 2 and Walk Designer

iona ( ) posted Fri, 07 December 2001 at 4:45 PM ยท edited Mon, 10 February 2025 at 5:55 AM

I'm getting some strange leg movements when using Victoria 2 with the walk designer, despite switching off inverse kinematics and loading in the correct figure type in the designer. Analysing the animation graph leg/hip keyframe interpolation reveals small spikes appearing in what should be a plot of an approximate sine wave. (One cycle per step). These cause the leg to buckle or straighten in odd places. Anyone else come across this. Is there a fix ? Thnx.

Try making the keyframes for the legs linear.
