Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 22 9:27 pm)
I think I can answer one question about finding the template to use. Go into the Poser free stuff and search for "seam" and there's one in there for Michael and one for Victoria. Beyond that, I'm useless in this case. I hope that's what you were looking for and gets you going in well...any direction. :)

You can get the Victoria template from DAZ. Just go to the Victoria page and scroll to the bottom. It's a free download for the template. If you are using the P4, then you should have the template on the CD. Look on the Poser Content CD for the templates. There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.
You can make a template for Vicky with Uvmapper but you don't need to. Just go towww.daz3d.com. You should be able down load the texture template from Vickies product page. As for what to do with it. After your done with it in Photoshop, you import it in Poser using the material editor.

What I want to do is to take a JPG or TIF image of a human face and impose it on one of the wireframe templates as described on CAKEONE. She used the Victoria 2 model I believe due to better realism. Do I have to export this wireframe or can I download it from the free site? I could not find one on the site. Maybe I am selecting the wrong arguments. Any advice here? Also, after I create the image to the wireframe spec in Adobe Photoshop, do I simply import back into Poser 4 and then impose it onto Vicki 2? This is the part where I am getting fuzzy. I did read the UVMAPPER tutorial as well. But it seems as if there are several ways to skin the same cat. This 3D rendering is a blast. I am glad to be a part of this community. Thanks for the advice on the monitor as well. I bought the Mitsubishi Diamnod Pro 2060u by the way. The dern thing is huge!!! Regards Always, John Overland Park, KS
