Well, this is our newest model, hope you all like it. As always we will be giving away another free model later today with the release of our Brick School House with all accessories. If you guess the clue for what our new free model is, you will get the Brick School House model for free. Here is your clue for "what is our Free Model": The sun does this, our free model does this, and a tractor has one. Good Luck, contest ends 2:00 PM EST This will be posted in Vue and Bryce Forum also, so one guess per person please. Sharen and Mike

Arghhhh.... this so unfair for all non-English people around. Not that my English is bad, but it's so much harder to guess something like that. Sun, Burn, Beam? Ah well, I would have loved to have a go for the school for free otherwise there's no way for me to get it. I guess I have to start to learn how to model my own props. Book about 3D Studio Max is on its way. Anyway, my compliments on the model. Really excellent work! Regards, Johnnie...

Swannie, what language do you speak? I will try for a translation. Sharen

Bia ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2001 at 11:32 AM

lights...at least that has to be one possible answer

Elsina ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2001 at 11:44 AM

heat rays? The HEAT-RAY is a diesel fuel heater that dramatically improves the performance of diesel engines resulting in the virtual elimination of black partical and nox emissions. So maybe the model is a heater, a potbelly stove?

A mirror? lol the sun reflects light? A tractor might have a rear view mirror!

Cin- ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2001 at 12:34 PM

grumble Okay, Sharen, you're just too smart for me... I never get these things... question though... The sun does it your model does it and a tractor has one a tractor has what the model is, or a tractor has what the sun and your model do?

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2001 at 12:48 PM

You all did a great job guessing, and there has been a winner, I will post again in a few minutes to tell you who has won this weeks contest. It still isn't 2:00 EST yet, another 10 minutes to go....Sharen

Okay, it is now 2:17 pm EST, where we are. There was one winner and it was Genny, from the Vue Forum. The correct answer was Radiator, the sun radiates, the model the radiator does too, and a tractor also has a radiator. Here it is, it is up on the web site now, for those who need one. Have a good day, oh yes, the brick school house is available now too. Thanks for the fun this afternoon. Mike and Sharen

Cin- ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2001 at 2:06 PM

Ooh, and a nice radiator it is too! Thanks Mike and Sharen for all your great freebies!

thgeisel ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2001 at 3:26 PM

Oh nice, its getting cold in the little cottage without that and the fireplace is only in one room.

Sharen, Take a look at this message. These people are looking for people who specialize in 3D Architecture work. They might be helpful in generating clients for you. ScottA

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sat, 08 December 2001 at 5:15 PM

ScottA, thanks for your link, we will look into that. I appreciate the link, because you must think our work is worth it. It was a very kind compliment you have just given us. Thanks again...Sharen

This Schoolhouse is delightful! (Just placed my order; at 13.00 I couldn't resist!) THe Free Potbellied Stove I got from DAZ this week now has a home! G Between the Millenium boys & girls, Mikey, & the P4 kids, it's about time we had a schoolhouse for to get them some "Larnin"!!! LOL (Now, if some of the talented Clothing creators would only come up with some good Pre-WWI clothes for the various kids, we won't have to send 'em to school nekkid! :-))

SAMS3D ( ) posted Sun, 09 December 2001 at 5:02 AM

I must say, we were just about to release our model of a pot bellied stove, really....when we saw DAZ's release, we pulled it back. We actually couldn't believe it happened at the exact same time and ours is very very similar to theirs. We didn't want any conflicts so we trashed it. That is why we came up with a radiator. I felt bad because it did come out so nice. Oh well, anyway, maybe someday we will release it. It was suppose to be our freebie of the week to go with the school like you said Leather-guy, but we just didn't want anyone to think we stole the idea. Sharen PS: I agree we need that pre-WWI clothing for the kids.
