Finally gonna be able to do some playing about - last night I got sidetracked from my competition entry and ended up in a graveyard. (Narasha's inspiration, perchance?) Anyways, I'm doing my best to learn the manual features of the camera and how to use them without the manual (misplaced). Combine this with re-installing all my software on the new hard disk and realising just what I had again gives you things like this. btw, I know the cross is blurry. It looked right on the lcs, but when I got home - hell, needs re-done..... (",)

I agree, my LCD has often led me astray. But my viewfinder is not through the lens...so what can i do, I either frame the image accurately or..FUZZY! lol...good playing Jordy.

@Alpha - The viewfinder gives you a screen jike the lcd - to be honest, I just used the auto focus on these - had I decided to use the manual it would have given better results, as apparently mine autofocuses at 2m if the pic is too dark - which it was. This was taken at 3 sec exposure with a quick flash halfway through. I'll re-do it on manual soon, but doubt the background will be as good coz it was a touch misty at the time I took this one! Thanks Punky, at least I know I'm not the only one! :) (",)

OH so you installed the 40 G monster! Have fun filling it up like I did mine. One question have you figured how to back it up? I still haven't. Congrats on installing a new drive but not frying your old one. Bsteph

lol - not a problem, Bsteph - I've had the loan of a cd rewriter/dvd for a little while coz dad's pc was under repair. Jammy sod has now bought a powerful laptop, so the loan has become permenant.....wahey!!! Downside; he wants his scanner back :-( tch. Couldn't really argue, though, could I? lol (",)
