someone showed me that holding shift when creating a meta ball makes it repal instead of attact anyone know of any other lil tricks with meta balls??

Well, metaballs don't seem to accept volume materials BUT if you place a metaball at the center of Bryce universe you can apply and see volume material rendered. Or you can make your metaball mesh in Metasequoia and import it into Bryce. This site doesn't have a metaball tut (I'll put one up soon though), but it does give info on the freeware. http://www.annsartgallery.com/donut.html

Eh, I'm gettin into making metaball tutorials, as soon as ivyroses finishes some conversion for me I'll have one up and I'ma try to make a basic metaball tut anyway
