I've been working on a texture for the middle-aged poser dude who is no longer a "spring chicken." Input, suggestions and comments are most welcome. No morph targets were used at all on this figure and the only post work done was on the hair. Marybeth

Nice, Mary Beth. He has just a hint of a younger Sean Connery, and I hate to say it, a tiny bit of Robert Goulet LOL. Are you working with one photo or doing a 'collage'. Whatever, good job. Diane B

Oh, just a thought. Look down below-the thread about the Allie hair and also Tim Laubach's thread. They both used a 'hair' texture on the head under the hair. Seems as though it would soften the hair line. Since I haven't tried any of this, take it with a grain of salt LOL. Diane B

AT LAST! A texture that isn't a "perfect" person... he looks like he's actually lived! Thank you! (ok, now post him!)

From one of the Older Dudes.... Congrats on capturing the Distinguished look :) Very nice indeed MaryBeth, this dude has lots of character. Do you suppose the older we get, the less dorky we get...? One suggestion or possible idea and without having any clue how to accomplish it... I've noticed that my eyelids seem to almost touch my upper eyebrow now and they didn't 25 years ago...hmmmmm Bill BBay.com

Well I don't know about extreme, but when you are sitting at your desk, looking straight at someone and they say "Hey, are you awake?"... then you know to what extent I mean :)

The longer you live the more mother eath wants to clasp you to her... in other words, your drooping....

Bill, yes, the older you get, the less 'dorky' you get. I love older men--I'm married to one (altho', hate to say it, but actually he's married to an 'older'-slightly-woman LOL). No slight to the younger guys around here, but maturity 'generally' builds character too-I really don't care for cookie cutter 'perfect' looking people either. Diane B

Diane.... Then REALLY gonna like me! hehe I too am married to a slightly older young lady (it's all relative isn't it?) Only 4 years though... not like 20 or something. :) Paul... good thing this chair is here... I'd be 'drooping' into a puddle... oh wait... the seat is shrinking!

Marybeth, I think the eyebrows could use a little more feathering and softening, but I've been looking for an older gentleman for a long time and I could really use him. I hope to see him up soon. He's a very welcome addition to the Poser Family. Melanie

Ladies & Gents: Thanks for the input and the kind comments. He should be posted in a few days or so or as soon as I can find the time to do the fine tuning. Diane: LOL! I actually used parts of Sean Connery's face for the map. Although, by the time I'm done shifting things around, his own mother wouldn't recognize it! I was hesitant to actually paint the hair on the texture because I felt it limits people to the hair colors they can use. He also looks good with fairly dark hair. Ikyoto: Okay! Okay! He'll be on the funstuff real soon! Bill: As a woman somewhat advanced in years, I wish it was only my eyebrows that were sagging! God, gravity can be a terrible, terrible thing. LOL! Allie: Will adjust the color for the final texture. Thanks for the comment about the eyes...they're mine. I got a new toy for my birthday...a digital camera and used that to get a good, close-up shot. Melanie: Will do some further work on the brows...I wasn't real thrilled with them either. He should be up on the funstuff real soon. Again, all, thanks for the input. Marybeth

Valid point, Mary Beth, about the hair. I hadn't even considered that. I'm anxious to use this fellow. Looking forward to you posting him. Diane B
