Awhile ago i downloaded the free magic hat from Daz and just found out that i DL it in mac format. Is there some way i can convert it or something... thanx kyle PS. i also saw a model embryo in a free stuff somewhere anybody know where?

If you say you goofed they may send you another one. The only other way is to have a mac person convert if for you. To my knowledge at least.

Since they are selling the hat now, you may be out of luck as far as getting a free hat, but they aren't very expensive if you need it for a project. On the other hand it wouldn't hurt to ask Daz anyway.

You should be able to extract the files with Aladdin Expander, which is free, just point it to an empty folder and it should put everything in the appropriate subfolders ready to go into your Poser Runtime folder. I suspect though that you may have to add the file extensions by hand, and some Mac-originated files have gunk at the front - generally you need to open in Notepad and delete the first line up to the opening curly brace for CR2, PP2 and obj files - figuring out RSRs or jpgs may be tricky. http://www.aladdinsys.com

Ive received no less than three IMs indicating that by posting my offer, I could be insinutating that Im trolling for warez. Folks, please. If by now you dont know my stand on warez, then I can only suggest you read the extensive threads on the subject at C&D. (sigh) For the record, I ALREADY HAVE THE DAMN FILE. I got it when it was available as a free download. I have no need for another copy of it. My offer was made purely to help someone. If you read anything more into it, then, frankly, thats really not my problem. (Jamball: that last statement was not directed at you. Your IM was courteous enough to acknowledge the gesture. The others, however... well, you folks know who you are, and its only out of good manners that I dont repeat your messages here for the entire community to see.)
