I started this post last night and stuffed it up due to severe sleep deprivation... (1) Thankyou everyone, who took the time to "cheer me up" and visit and comment on my site...I had no idea there were so many celebrities posting under assumed names at Renderosity!! :-)> I'm very happy now! (2) Image above: Antoonio asked me how I got the "Raw" look in this image. Partly Niko, I think it was a bit overexposed to start with...I had been mucking around with the exposure settings on my digital and forgotten to reset them in this instance...Then (in photoshop) I made two copies of the background and used one as a contrast adjustment layer, and the topmost layer as a fairly heavy unsharp masking layer. I just fiddled with the opacities of both these layers until it looked good to me...

Thankyou SueO, Niko...I have picked up some great ideas from the John Paul Caponigro book I mentioned in Alpha's "Something New In Black and Whie" Thread...It's quite a good reference on different methods using Photoshop. Thanks Syyd! (The link to the guest book was below the Egg on the home page) You really liked my poetry?? Most people look at me as if I'm a bit deranged when I show it to them!! Lol, I appreciate your feedback.
