Cool! You could do a whole series of images around this tree. Very unique. :)

Very nice! Double exposure in camera, or post processing?

mpetit69 ( ) posted Thu, 13 December 2001 at 7:42 PM

Post processing, but not much, only the necessary to give it a slight movement. Thank you all for your comments :)

Wow, its reminds me of something from an enigma video...this is fantastic, can you give us some details behind it?

mpetit69 ( ) posted Fri, 14 December 2001 at 10:16 AM

Well,my dear Syyd, this is a little 15 inches tree I found on the beach here in Cozumel and planted it on the sand. It is surrounded by some coral as you can see, but it was just laying on the sand. Once I had it in the computer,I copied the image and placed it on top of the original, then I splited it in half with a transparency tool and applied a soft ripple effect, then I erased the spots I didn't like. All this in photopaint, but I sincerely believe that the magic of this picture was achieved when I shot it, that little tree was shouting at me..."I want to be on your camera!"

Oh, this is a wonderful story, because to look at it, one sees such spiritual magic...it speaks...it truly does, and I am sure it spoke to you......Thanks for sharing this....Wow, Cozumel, this is one place where I have always always always wanted to go...
