I keep getting this message whenever I try to use any of the Vicky clothing. (Caught C exception access_violation trapped at 15f:47d299. Also whenever I try to certain characters on my system I get a figure with no arms, legs, head, skin, only hair and what appears to be the internal framework of the character.

I believe it means that you need to download the update available on posers home page somewhere. give that a try.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I am in the process of doing that now. However I do have another question. Where do I change the information for characters that can seem to find certain textures, props, or any other files that will cause Poser to lock up. My guess is that it is in the .obj files. And if you know anything about animations in poser I sure could use the help. Thanks again, and thanks in advance. J.

I get the same message when using the tops on the Mkids (both of them). The pants work fine. No tops. I have Poser 4.03.

the easiest way to fix the problem when textures are missing is to find where they should be and put the textures there. Or else you can load the image, then load the textures and use the '+' sign to readd the prop with the new texture location in place. As for animations in poser, I haven't got much involved with them, it's teadius and time consuming and I haven't got the time for it. :)

I dont develop in C, but I think that Poser is trying to access a protected part of your computers memory at address 15f:... This can occasionally happen when BIOS memory gets relocated to parts of main memory that are also being accessed by your video drivers. Other indications are hanging PC when you use other graphic software or graphically intensive software, also in combination with a video capture card. Its a bit too difficult to explain here, but things with regard to BIOS relocation might need to be changed in your PCs setup. THIS IS ONLY A WORST CASE SCENARIO, a last option only to be performed by someone with eligable knowledge of the inner PC. Maxx
