recently I purchased Tree classic, but to tell you the truth it confuses me. Has anyone worked with it? What are the tricks? Is it all post production? Have I just blown $195?

Never heard of it. Is there a url where we can go to check it out? DM aka Nite Miner

I was hoping you wouldn't say onyxtree. I've never been to their site but the word is that the usage agreement is way to restrictive. Maybe they have more then one product for creating trees and this has a less restrictive agreement? Going to have to go there. Thanks DM aka Nite Miner

well I kind of feel like a dumby all I have to do is import the trees as 2D and they look pretty good. I still have alot else to figure out with this program. It seems so difficult to find good looking plants that I thought this would be a good choice ( I also have plantstudio, which I find ify). From what I have seen so far with this program I would have been much happier with Tree Professional except the price is way out of my price range.

If the Tree classic is half as good as Tree Pro. then it should help making trees a snap. Tree pro is the program I've seen some trees made with and there fantastic. The problem is with the user agreement that goes with it. I remember a thread on the subject either here or at the other forum. The agreement was something I couldn't deal with. It's the same thing with Creature Creator. I was going to get that one until I found out how bad the user agreement was. I hope it doesn't become a trend. I've got Plant Studio and I know what you mean but I still like messing with it. Good luck with the trees. DM aka Nite Miner
