you should consider embedding your animation clips into a web page that does not require people to downlaod a file to their hard drive

Oh pooh, looks like Tripod's not going to co-operate. I'll try again later, that's the trouble with free pages. I don't quite understand Wolf's reply, is the link an example of bad practice?

I used to embed files in web pages but due to poor connection conditions .. and slow modems .. people commented on interupted playing. Also with zipping the files I'm able to get extra download speed. All my files are small anyway. If people don't want to keep the download they can always delete it. Also the wolf359 link appears to prompt a download.. not a page load. Bye all.. and keep animating. PS.. sorry about the Tripod problems. Gerald

What browser are you using??

on IE5 my stuff plays within the browser window
and on netscape as well

If the file is already on your system it won't trigger download.

thats becuse on the mac it loads the file into your browser cache
and plays it in a browser window
