iam a newbie, i find it hard going modeling in other programs like Amorphium, but in bryce i can nearly model anything i want with in reason, not being able to export unless it is a terrain is a bitch. so what i would like to know, is there a program that is easy to use for modeling basic stuff that can be exported in and out of bryce and poser. in bryce you can import picture files into the terrain editer to get the shapes you want how far can you go, i mean can you make a picture say in photo shop of someting you want to model eg. a ship shape or some thing import through the terrain canvas, and you should have a exportable model or not ???????????

Get AMAPI 4.5. Net-Search for it, as I don't remember the URL. It's FREE and will output in obj format which both Poser & Bryce can use. Lots of the people here use it. I've had it for a while and am just now finally starting to actually learn & use it. Go for it.

Or, metasequoia. The freeware version has a great metaball tool and exports in formats that Bryce recognizes. http://www1.sphere.ne.jp/mizno/main_e.html

I recommend Rhinoceros 2. If you're a student It will cost you $195. But It's worth It.

metasequoia is a very nice little program easy to use, the shareware will not let you export so iam dowloading the freeware. for what i want which is realy basic, rhino and truespace seem a bit hard going but like every thing if you stick with it it gets better.
