Ok folks, I've seen lots of different people make pine trees with really nice looking needles (as an example, the winner for the Christmas card contest). How can we do this in Carrara easy and make it look good? -Kix

Hi Kixum, Not complete realism, but then again, it only took about 3 minutes to put together with Tree Druid for Carrara. (http://www.zenstar.com/) Tree Druid does house plants (some) coniferous, palm and deciduous trees; about 50 in total. Super easy to texture in Carrara. You can adjust the trees for gravity, the sun, the wind and wind direction plus change to the seasons for growth and fullness. They can even drop leaves on the ground in fall. Pretty cool stuff.
