haave down loaded some 3ds file but can not open then keep telling me can not locate 3ds exe where do I get this exe from.

you must have 3ds files on your computer registered to be opened by 3DS Max. If you own 3ds max, point the "could not find 3ds.exe please manually locate this file" box to 3ds. If you don't own 3ds max, you can open these files in bryce by going to File>Import Object.
