this is my first work with him... I've not done any specific texturing or anything... just putting the parts together. Some of BlBarret's strongblade.. some of jkeller's rogue... that real nice helmet from darkworld in freestuff. Anyway... you can see those nifty muscles :grins:

Hurry Sharen run run run, I want to see your Mike 2 :) Anzan, great image love the outfit, and what the heck are all those muscles Mike has? Geesh I never heard of half of them!

I just wish there was a good way to adapt clothing to the muscular forms or any other type of change. Oh well. Maybe in Poser 5 :grins:

My first Michael2. I have him 3 hours. Now I have some questions. 1. Which clothingpack should I buy 1 or 2 (both)? 2. I have the HiresMap by DAZ. I need now a 2nd texturemap, which is the best? Which recommendations can still give you to me? Mazak

Personally, I prefer the textures done by Quim2001. The maps by DAZ seem to be a little lacking in details.

Great images, I been waiting for him for months and was excited to see him lastnight I work with Mike more than Vicki. For once my download worked and even though it took nearly 2 hours I got him. I think he is amazing, he is so flexible the possibilities are endless. I am looking forward to the morphing clothing pack. I wish someone would morph the adventurer suit and the mike changing fantasy suit that would be cool. Here is a quick one I did with him. (loincloth painted quickly pay no attention)

This is the Mike2P4 poor ol dork just did not do anything for some of the great clothes that are made for him. The outfit is PoserWorld's Henry the VII. I used Catherina's Kain texture on him. Genobi hair.

Mazak, join Catharina's site (link) and get all of her excellent Mike textures (and more) for one great price. It really is a great bargin, and with the various beard versions you get a lot of flexibility from the textures. You need to join before the end of the year though because she's cutting off membership then. As for the clothing paks, I got M1 on CD so it had pak 1 included. Pak 2 is probably most useful for the body suit, which is why I bought it. If you only want to get one, I'd get pack 1 because it has all the basic clothes and many of the free textures are based on it. That way you have some other options available immediately. And I second Tammy's vote for clothing morphs for the Fantasy Suit and Adventurers! Someone's working on that right ;)

judith ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 5:48 PM

I am chomping at the bit here! This makes the 4th purchase in a row I haven't received a download link for and I'm anxious to see Vicki's counterpart!! The muscle morphs look spectacular! GREAT work everyone! At least I know I'm waiting on a worthwhile product!

Here's a quick one...gotta love those abs! Runtime DNA's cyberMike suit (most of it anyway!) works if you make his legs invisible and tweak his arms into the gloves. I had to trans out the rest because he's too buff for the top. I tarted him up with some piercings just for fun, but he turned out kinda cool so I think I'll come up with a large body tattoo so he can just run around shirtless!

Thanks scifiguy, azl for answer. Clothingpack 1 looks like a "must have". I wait till next thursday for the morphingclothing pack. For the 2nd texturemap I go with Kane by Syyd :-) I think it is a wonderfull texture (for thieves, pirates and adventurers). The picture is Kane without any postwork :o) Mazak

OK, my darling wife was nice to me for Christmas. In addition to a year's membership at Poserworld, I got Michael 2. I'd already bought the Michael 2 standard-res textures weeks ago. I used Anton's full & feathered hair, and "Michael the hunk?!"

ronknights ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 9:47 PM

file_246780.jpg

Here's a closeup. I took less than a half hour to play around with muscle morphs, and try to get a light that made a decent dramatic effect. How did I do?!

fauve ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 10:11 PM

Has anyone used Mike 2 to make a thin-bodied character yet? If so, could you post an image? I'm still trying to decide about buying him. Thanks, -nemo

ronknights ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 10:14 PM

Go to the DAZ site at look at all the body morphs. You can literally make him into a bag of bones, and anything up or down from that.

scifiguy ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 10:25 PM

file_246781.jpg

Well, I don't know how skinny you want, so here's a 2 minute quick one. It looks a little goofy because I just dialed the figure I've been working with...apparently I forgot to parent the nipple ring, and yes, that's how much bigger my Mikes arms were! Body settings: young 1 thin .308 emaciated .116 narrow waist .1 I left the ab morphs where I had them, but put tone back to 0. If I spent some real time working on it, it would look better. Notice there's no unsightly man-breasts though!

scifiguy ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 10:28 PM

Oh, I forgot that I had extended his neck for the original...its not that long by default :)

fauve ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 10:35 PM

Thanks, scifiguy!!

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 11:27 PM

Is it just me, or does Ron's Michael really look like Kevin Sorbo?

ronknights ( ) posted Sat, 22 December 2001 at 11:56 PM

Interesting! I haven't watched Hercules in awhile. I can tell you Mike's face in this picture is "out of the box." I didn't use any morphs etc. I didn't have that short hair that many folks are showing off, so this Full & feathered hair seemed a good choice.

Xurge ( ) posted Sun, 23 December 2001 at 12:49 AM

Here is mine. I don't have the hair either so I just improvised. Pants and boots are from Runtime DNA, the texture is Lance by Dalinise, rest by me. This sure is a super character from DAZ, they sure put out a solid package.

ChromeTiger ( ) posted Sun, 23 December 2001 at 6:01 AM

Ok, here's my contribution. I'm reworking my WIP Flash with Michael 2 instead of Massive Mike. I love the muscle morphs, and the additional morphing is absolutely great, not to mention keeping full compatability with existing Michael Morphs. I'm still gonna keep Massive Mike around, as the two are very different...but I gotta admit I'm likin Mike 2 a lot...

ronknights ( ) posted Sun, 23 December 2001 at 6:09 AM

Little Dragon, I agreed (I thought), that my version of Mike2 looks a lot like Kevin Sorbo. I just hadn't even thought about it until you mentioned it. I do like both Hercules and Kevin Sorbo! Kool looking guy, with a sense of humor.

raven ( ) posted Sun, 23 December 2001 at 10:11 AM

Hey I have a question for all you lucky M2 owners... Morph names... are they the same on M2 as they are on V2? I mean on the head specifically...

LittleMouseOnaHonda ( ) posted Mon, 24 December 2001 at 10:11 AM

From what I could tell the morph names are the same.

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Mon, 24 December 2001 at 6:38 PM

The morph names are mostly identical, although there are a few differences (HeadHag vs. HeadTroll, HeadMonkey vs. HeadBigfoot). Mike 2 has additional morphs not found on Victoria (the beard morphs, PuckerLips, etc.). If you check back at the DAZ Store, you'll find popup lists of all the morphs for both Mike and Vicky. You can put them side-by-side for easy comparison.
